Arnaldo Barros is the Director of the Specialized Labor Department of the Martorelli Law Firm. He is responsible for structuring and developing this client service area, working there since its creation in 2000. Always in employer representation, he participates in collective bargaining meetings and our clients’ trade union relations, with agencies and entities, with emphasis on the Port and Sugar and Ethanol Sectors. At the law firm, he is responsible for the legal guidelines and strategies related to Labor Law. Together with the other Corporate Law departments, he advises clients on mergers, acquisitions and sales of companies, regarding possible and/or potential labor liabilities arising from these operations.
With more than 30 years of professional experience, Arnaldo Barros acts in the defense of employer interests (clients) He has been at the forefront of various negotiations and collective bargaining negotiations, in nationwide salary campaigns with various professional categories and trade unions. He has participated in numerous lectures and seminars, with special collaboration in the events involving the new regulatory framework for port activities. He is a member of the Legal Group of the Brazilian Association of Container Terminals - ABRATEC and a participant of the Labor and Social Security Committee of the Center of Lawyer Society Studies - CESA.
